CAUSE EXCESS WATER:

CAUSE DECREASE WATER:

In dehydration >>PCV increase.........In anemia.>>>>dacrease
DEHYDRATION::

Excessive fluid loss>>>polyuria,vomiting,rumin inmpaction,abomasum torsion
compansate dehydration by dry faeces..decrease sweat
*how to know animal infect with dehydration:
prominant,,sinkin eye,,skin fold test
scouring calf>>sever scouring calf can loss 22-40time than normal fecal water in one day
calf loss electrolyte::Na,,CL,, bicarbonate,,k
the more sever dehydration,the more sever acidosis>>>as water descend lost electrolyte
normally tissue cell can function for only short period when surrounding media moved away from 7.38--7.42 PH >>>so must give I\V bicarbonate
Sever dehydration calf: increase in BUN,,creatinine &happen lactic acidosis as cellular respiration>>>imapction>>>anaerobic mtabolism
FIRST electrolye should give to animal>>> Na,,,,,Cl
Precaution to give K with dehydration:
give fluid therapy with out K
restore kidney function
correction acidosis
Calf indehydration>>>not need glocuse therapy<but scouring for several day and feed on poor quality food
Many calf responde rabidly enough to fluid therapy so make milk feeding started after 24h and not need I\V compound
NO one fluid need all requirment of any particular calf nor is any fluid ideal fir treatment all scouring calf
